STAR DEAN-WILLCOCKS HAS COORDINATED THE AUSTRALIAN ACCOUNTANTS
AND LAWYERS CONFERENCES SINCE 2000
AND IN 2002 BROWN WRIGHT STEIN
(FORMERLY THE COMMERCIAL DIVISION OF GILLIS DELANEY BROWN) JOINED
STAR DEAN-WILLCOCKS AS A MAJOR SPONSOR. TOGETHER WE WELCOME
THE SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION BY WAY OF CO-SPONSORSHIP OF O.MARAS
VALUERS & AUCTIONEERS AND THE BRIEF GROUP PTY LIMITED FOR THE
2006 CONFERENCE.
THEIR PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
Previous Conferences have been well attended by both accountants and lawyers
and the cross fertilisation without exception has extended professionally every
presentation. Additionally the open forum sessions have provided a stimulating
interchange benefi cial to all delegates.
Clearly, the professional who keeps up to date with recent developments is in a
position to best conduct his or her practice or business, not only for the
benefi t of clients and customers, but in a manner to best protect him or herself
and identify problems before they overtake our clients. In its seventh year, the
Conference is an attempt to create meaningful discussion to fi nd new and creative
solutions to problems faced by the professions.
The Conference program has been structured to be of professional interest to
other advisers who are often called upon by the accountant and/or lawyer. The
sponsors welcome and encourage non accountants and lawyers to attend the
Conference for the mutual benefit of all delegates.
In addition to an active professional and social program a number of selected
topics may be of interest to accompanying persons who are cordially invited
to attend those sessions.
The Conference provides a great opportunity to compensate families for the
disruption caused by the demands of the busy professional and commercial life.
Your family can be actively or passively involved in various aspects of the program.
The Australian Accountants and Lawyers Conference 2006 will emulate the high
standard of professional content and relaxed friendly environment of previous
Conferences. The Conference is promoted by Travelplan Australia Pty Limited.
The program is designed to provide CPE, CPD and CLE points for participation
(however practitioners should make independent enquiry). Kindly note that early
registration is highly recommended. Numbers are limited and places will be
allocated strictly in order of receipt of deposit payment. Our conference venue,
The Aspens on Blackcomb, and Air Canada have imposed a 30 September
deadline for group bookings. After this date, it may be more diffi cult to confi rm
bookings at current costs, so it is important to BOOK EARLY this year.
As package prices have been negotiated on group fares and hotel rates, immediate
confi rmation for those wishing to register outside the package cannot be offered
however a waiting list will be established and places offered only in the event of
the Conference package not being fully subscribed.
In the event of the Conference being fully subscribed all subsequent bookings and
registration fees received will be refunded
